Foreign Languages offered within the IM Study Program
In order to be able to communicate with confidence in an international environment, a high degree of proficiency in English and at least one other foreign language is essential. Therefore, foreign languages constitute a significant part of this study program, and generally build on the level reached by the end of secondary school.
In addition to English as first foreign language, at Hof University you can choose between French and Spanish as a second foreign language.
For those who have not previously reached the required level in one of these two languages, Hof University also offers “Intensive Spanish” as a second foreign language. This option requires students to reach a basic competence prior to the beginning of their studies in October, and also requires them to continue to learn the language intensively during their studies. The university endeavors to support students as far as possible.
