Job fairs are a good opportunity to get in touch with companies and find offers for an internship, thesis or a career start. On 6 November a career fair will take place in Zwickau (Zwik, you can register for the shuttle bus). To make the most of this opportunity, you should attend this webinar.

In this seminar you will learn how to prepare for a job fair, including tips on research about companies, planning your visit and dress code. Moreover, a short profile example is explained you can prepare beforehand to provide first information to recruiters and general advice for detailed application documents after the event. In a limited time frame, we will practice the short self-introduction for recruiters.

Many candidates accept the first offer without negotiating, giving away several thousand euros per year. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to clearly define your salary goals as a young professional and assert them with confidence – using strategy instead of gut feeling.
In this interactive workshop, you will learn how to realistically assess your market value as a graduate, develop convincing arguments, and navigate salary negotiations with confidence. Together, we’ll practice typical negotiation scenarios, role-play possible employer responses, and simulate a real job interview. This way, you’ll be perfectly prepared for your first job interview – and lay the foundation for your financial start into working life.

Dieser 2,5-tägige Workshop hilft Ihnen, Ihre interkulturellen Kompetenzen zu verbessern bzw. Ihr Studium oder Praktikum im Ausland erfolgreich zu meistern. In Übungen erfahren Sie, wie Ihre eigene kulturelle Prägung Ihre Wahrnehmung und Ihr Verhalten bestimmt und warum andere Menschen anders reagieren können als erwartet. Nutzen Sie diesen Workshop auch, um mit internationalen Studierenden in Kontakt zu treten:

This workshop covers the preparation and different stages of a classic job interview. You will learn about the content and evaluation criteria for self-presentation, as well as the specific characteristics of online and telephone interviews and assessment centers.
Registration is required and will be possible from October 30 to November 13.
A Zoom link will be provided via email after registration.
