Since 2022, I have been a Professor of Operational Excellence at the Faculty of Interdisciplinary and Innovative Sciences at Hof University of Applied Sciences. In my courses, I deal with topics such as production management, production planning and control, operational excellence, supply chain management, and quality management—both in bachelor's and master's programs.
I completed my mechanical engineering studies at Leibniz University Hannover and the University of São Paulo. Subsequently, I earned my doctorate at Hamburg University of Technology at the Institute of Production Management and Technology. In my dissertation, I developed a value stream method specifically for make-to-order manufacturers. I gained valuable practical experience in leading positions in strategic supply chain management in companies within the medical and energy technology sectors.
My research focuses on the individual configuration of production systems, the transfer of production management methods to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the simulation of complex manufacturing structures.
