
Christoph Koch is Professor of Operational Excellence, having joined the Faculty of Interdisciplinary and Innovative Sciences at Hof University of Applied Sciences in 2022. He teaches on topics such as production management, production planning and control, operational excellence, supply chain management and quality management in the undergraduate and graduate programs at Hof University.
He completed his mechanical engineering studies at Leibniz University of Hannover and the University of São Paulo. He then received his doctorate with a thesis on a value stream method for make-to-order companies at the Technical University of Hamburg. He gained valuable industry experience in responsible positions within the strategic supply chain management of medical device and power engineering companies.
His research interests include the company-specific configuration of production systems, the application of production management methods to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the simulation of complex manufacturing structures.
