"Coming from a civil engineering background with an initial foundation in project management through my studies, I chose Hof University to deepen my skills and explore new perspectives. Sustainability was a completely new field for me, and the SPE program opened my eyes to how essential it is for future engineering work. I believe that the knowledge I am gaining here will be valuable one day for reconstruction and sustainable development in Syria.
The integrated German language courses have also been very helpful — I am currently studying B1 and will continue with B2.1 next semester, which supports my integration and prepares me well for the internship in the third semester. Hof is a calm and welcoming city, ideal for students who are new to Germany, and the professors are genuinely supportive and committed to helping us succeed. This environment has allowed me to focus on my studies and grow both academically and personally."
