Online registration for language courses

The online registration for language courses in the winter semester 2024 takes place in stages.

         

No registration for advanced courses without placement or successful attendance of the previous course!

Registration is required for the language courses of the Language Center; these courses are listed in the online registration.

Successful registration does not establish a right to a course place; a ranking list cannot be established until after the registration deadline, and priority is given to mandatory language students.

English placement tests  take place online. Please check with the Language Center in time!

Online registration for language courses

Registration for the language courses takes place via the Primuss portal .

(Exception: English placement tests  for English language courses)

Interdisciplinary language courses

Online registration for courses in WS 2024 runs from September 23rd, 2024, 09:00 a.m. to October 11th, 2024, 9:00 a.m.  via the Primuss portal                 

Courses that have not reached the minimum number of participants by Friday, October 11th, 2024 will be canceled (exception: specialization courses).   

German courses

Registration: 23/09/2024, 09:00 a.m. - 11/10/2024, 09:00 a.m.  via the Primuss portal

Compulsory courses

You must register for the following compulsory language courses:

  • BW 3 - Business English III
  • WR 3 English for Lawyers: Part Business Communication
  • WOS 4/WP 4 English II 

Registration: 23.09., from 09:00 a.m. to 04.10.2024, 09:00 a.m. via the Primuss portal .

You do not  have to register for the following language courses in your degree program  :

BW 1/ 2, DB 1Business English (II) and English for Business Studies I
IM 2 / 6"Foreign language I and II" courses
WOS 3/WP 5English I
Inf 3/ MC 1English for computer scientists
VINEnglish

Course start

The interdisciplinary language courses start on Monday, March, 4th, 2024!

Monday, 03/04 - Friday, 03/22 count as taster days; Compulsory attendance applies from Monday, March 18th, 2024.

The four-hour German courses begin with compulsory attendance on Wednesday/Thursday, March/April 27th/4th, 2024.

For the two-hour German courses, you will receive information about the start of the course by email.
