“I chose the Software Engineering for Industrial Applications program at Hof University because it combines strong academic foundations with a practical, industry-oriented approach. Through courses like IoT, cloud computing and generative AI workshops, I have gained hands-on exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts such as digital shadows and digital twins, which have helped me understand how modern software systems support industrial production lifecycle. Hof stood out to me because of its small class sizes, close interaction with professors, and strong connections to industry partners, making learning both engaging and applied. Learning German alongside my studies has been an important part of my experience, because it helps me integrate easily and collaborate more confidently in academic and professional settings.”
