„Studying Environmental Engineering means supporting and fostering correct and sustainable development between technology, growing cities, and the environment. We help companies and the population have access to basic resources to live without compromising those of future generations.
One of the most interesting courses in my third semester was "Hydrology and Water Extraction". In this course, we learned about the importance of understanding various natural processes that occur in our daily lives, such as evapotranspiration, to better comprehend the causes of meteorological problems. As part of the course, we analyzed the nitrate content in a soil sample to understand its influence on groundwater, as well as on soil and drinking water quality. This experiment provided valuable insights into the subject.
I do believe that environmental engineers have big responsibility in looking for the best way to implement the well-known sustainable development."
