Study Structure – Human Resource Management and Labor Law
The master study program is designed as a full-time study program with a standard study period of three semesters. The first two semesters serve to acquire advanced application-oriented theoretical knowledge. In the third semester, students complete an internship prepared by a practical seminar and create the master thesis. The commencement of the master study program is offered at every semester.
A number of core modules in the areas of labor law, human resource management and key qualifications is compulsory for all students. The master program receives by the use of complementary study focus modules, either a legal or an economic profile, depending on the field of the completed first degree:
Graduates of a jurisprudential first-degree program attend further labor law courses. Your practical seminar, practical training within a company and the master thesis are as well dealing with labor issues. You complete your study with the degree Master of Laws (LL.M.).
Students with an economic undergraduate study degree, however, are offered further courses on human resource management. The practical seminar, internship and master thesis of these students are related to human resources issues. The graduates are awarded the academic degree Master of Arts (M.A.) after successfully graduating.
