Job perspectives for mechanical engineers are outstanding. Machine building is the most important industry in Germany, and mechanical engineers trained in Germany have a broad range of employment possibilities due to their very high demand. German industries sell most of their production abroad, and are well-known for problem-solving in many fields. So it is a vital issue for these companies to employ people who are able and willing to work with international customers.
This study program has been designed to prepare german speaking students for doing business abroad. Although most of the courses are taught in German language, some courses are in English.
The special thing with the study program is, that the students are obliged to spend two Semesters in a non-German speaking Country. One of these semesters is a well organized stay at a partner university, the other one is a internship at company or research institute.
