The Environmental Engineering study program focuses on the topics of chemistry, biotechnology, water and wastewater treatment, as well as energy efficiency.
In times of an expanding level of technology the relevance of environmental topics is also increasing. Climate protection, CO2 regulations, virtual water trading, technologies for the reuse of waste, biological fuels, rational use of energy - technology and economy need an ecological modernization.
Innovative methods to find solutions for existing and future environmental problems require global and interdisciplinary cooperation. Besides basic skills, the Environmental Engineering degree program imparts special interdisciplinary knowledge - from mechanical engineering to materials science.
The contents of study always consider practical relevance and economical aspects of environmental engineering.
