According to our estimates, more than 2.5 million people in Germany currently work in supply chain management. However, both in the logistic service industry and in the field of in-house logistics, academics were underrepresented in the past. Although there has been a noticeable increase in education and training in German institutions of higher education, there will be a significant accumulated demand for university-trained supply chain managers for many years to come.
The Master’s degree program Supply Chain Management/Logistics is designed to take three semesters and basic knowledge in logistics and IT are required. Catching up on lacking knowledge is possible.
The goal is to prepare students for assuming management tasks in logistics. Logistics is characterized by the integration of technical and business aspects. New logistic management concepts can only be established through new technical support and only technical solutions enable new logistic approaches. This degree program therefore focuses on conveying this interface know-how from both the business and the technical point of view and combines it to an overall concept. Due to this integrated concept graduates of the Master’s degree program are enabled to assume management tasks in logistics (so-called senior level).
The application period for the economic Master’s Degree Program Supply Chain Management/Logistics has been extended up to and including February 28th, 2019. All documents can be handed in easily via the Primuss Portal!
We are looking forward to your applications!
