After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree and gaining a few years of work experience many graduates begin seeing the need for deeper knowledge of management and economics, especially for earning a leading position. Our MBA program in General Management is focused on developing students’ knowledge and skills in leadership competence, strategy development, development of new business models, as well as their implementation through change and project management. Thanks to a high level of tertiary-level education, in combination with the program’s cross-sectional subjects, the General Management students are sought after companies and organizations from a variety of different industries.

The program offers a personal as well as professional qualification for leadership tasks in all various business units.
Graduates of the program will be able to become a manager in an overseas branch of a German company of a German branch of a foreign company.
The Master's program "General Management” is designed for international oriented graduates of Economics, Engineering, Social or Cultural Sciences, or similar, who ideally have professional experience.
The Master’s program contains 12 modules, 5 ECTS per module (4 basic modules + 6 core modules + 2 elective modules):
* Students having German basic knowledge on level A1, need to pass the modules "German I" (A2) and "German II" (B1). Other elective modules may be passed as additional modules but will not count toward your degree and can be charged with an extra fee.
Students having advanced knowledge on level B1 or higher are free in choosing two elective modules. German language B2 or C1 can also be selected as electives.
The 3rd and 4th semester are dedicated for an internship (30 ECTS) in a company and a practical Master's Thesis (30 ECTS).
