|"University goes public"
Indian and German students of the bachelor's programs Innovative Textiles and Business Administration presented their project work to the public on Hof University's Münchberg campus.
Two project teams showed their audience how to recycle plastic bags into sandals, or how an electric conductive floor could replace wall sockets in the future. The other two teams presented their results on repairing textile concrete and punch riveting for CFRP (carbon) in the automotive industry.
The group of 20 students had been working together in the module Product Development. This interdisciplinary module headed by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schrott allows students to develop new product ideas, including their design and marketing.
After the English language presentations, everyone met for a get-together and further discussion in the University's canteen.
